I wanted a voltmeter for car after hearing of my friend’s stressful episode of having his car battery fail on him. Voltmeter tells you the voltage of your car battery (before, during and after the engine runs). A mechanic told me he can get a dedicated voltmeter fixed on my dash for about RM150. Seriously?
A prepper friend recently asked me what is the cheapest way to treat water for consumption. Well, since our body is about 60% water, it makes good (survival) sense to learn how to treat water for consumption. There’s already so many products sold in the market today to do this ‘water treatment’ thing but I have never really thought about what is the ‘cheapest way’. So, I decided to do a bit of research to find the cheapest way to treat water.
Thankfully, the Bersih Rally held a few weeks ago went smooth without much unwanted incident. Ok, maybe a few isolated cases (fire crackers thrown at people and purportedly tampered drinks) but overall, I think most would agree that it went way better than the previous rallies. Although I was away and not able to be included in the crowd, I could not help but wonder what if things did go wrong on that day? What if there was chaos and anarchy? Am I really prepared?
