I finally received the custom made knife pouch from Garrison Packs for my old Carl Schleiper knife. Together with this knife, I would usually carry a Fallkniven DC4 sharpener. Knife was given to me some time back while the DC4 I purchased from OGM.  This combination isn’t really my EDC but they have been my constant travelling companion, especially to places that would not welcome the Benchmade Triage.

If you ever need to do outdoor gear repair in New Zealand, you can do so by contacting the folks at TwinNeedle . A buckle on my Kifaru Marauder broke after I accidentally stepped on it. The only place to get some quality buckles to replace it would have to be TwinNeedle. A few weeks ago, I dropped by at their store on Tuam street and was pleasantly surprised by the many updates Matt and Chris has put on their store.

Wow…I never thought I was still keeping this US Army issued Tactical Tailor pouch. I got it from a friend many years ago who was serving the in the army. It has probably accompanied him on a few deployments. I was going through my stash of pouches to look for an EDC-able unit for my bits. Of all the pouches in the stash, this probably comes the closest to what I need.
